The position As a Senior Scientific Project & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in driving our Global Expert Panel(s), which includes global and local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) as well as nurses. Your responsibilities will include gathering scientific and operational input from these external experts and using their insights to develop and implement effective communication plans, patient recruitment and retention strategies, and trial supporting tools. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing educational materials for participants and site staff in the trials, ensuring that they are informed and engaged throughout the process. Other responsibilities include: Driving global meetings & events (physical and/or virtual) to engage external panel and committee members (doctors and nurses) Supporting affiliate colleagues in engaging their local panel members in trial-related activities to drive patient recruitment and retention, trial start up, completion readiness & results communication activities Keeping site staff engaged throughout the trial journey Engaging with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and several external vendors Challenging status quo by assessing deliverables, enhancing processes and identify new ways of achieving goals You will have the opportunity to work very closely with stakeholders from Global Medical Affairs, Medical & Science and Clinical Operations in HQ as well as colleagues in our affiliate offices. The position is based in the HQ office in Søborg, Denmark. Approximately 10-20 travel days a year should be expected.
Qualifications To success in this role, you are expected to have a business, science, or medical degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) combined with 6+ years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in both global and local roles. In addition, you have: Advanced experience in driving complex projects of a strategic nature Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of key stakeholders up to senior management level Advanced experience in clinical or medical projects including patient engagement Ability to influence your stakeholders through building trusting relationships Experience in communication disciplines, on- and offline Proficiency in written and spoken English Apart from that, you have flair for integrating communication and change management perspectives into any project execution. You are curious and passionate about improvements and continually identifying opportunities for development of your deliverables. You are motivated by ambitious targets, and you can structure and translate data into knowledge and clear communication to facilitate decision making and project progress. As a person, you are ambitious, flexible and have a strong drive for taking initiative and working both as a dedicated team player as well as independently. About the department GMA is responsible for driving the scientific dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Professionals (HCPs). We are part of the R&D (Research and Development) organization in Novo Nordisk, one of the world’s most successful pharmaceutical companies and the market leader within diabetes care and obesity and exciting development programmes in other serious chronic diseases.
