We are looking for an Associate Director Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Management Veeva and BigTech to join our team. The position As an Associate Director Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Management Veeva and BigTech, you will: Strategic Partnership Development w/ Veeva and BigTech: Develop a robust framework and standards for managing key strategic partnerships, including due diligence process definition, execution support, and innovative partner mapping. Veeva Partnership Strategy Execution: Execute on the vendor and partnerships strategy, simplifying the footprint, understanding technology products, and networking with stakeholders across Development. Vendor Management of Veeva and BigTech: Guide product teams in vendor selection to align with the overarching strategy, establishing preferred vendors, and improving access to innovation and key capabilities. Veeva Vault Platform Roadmapping: Define clear roadmaps for our relationships with key global technology partners such as Veeva and BigTech and Microsoft, ensuring alignment with current and future technology needs. Capability Sourcing: Establish integrated partnerships with key capability vendors to source the right capabilities swiftly and maintain a flexible workforce. Continue to explore talent partnerships with universities and startups to build a pipeline of future talent. Digital Innovation Ecosystem: Enable our future partnership strategy by simplifying the global partner landscape, consolidating demand, and building capabilities around the digital innovation ecosystem. Veeva Contract Management: Ensure contracts of key vendors are tightly management with regards to both NN & vendor deliverables and leverage learnings to advise on future contract negotiations. Standardization and Performance Management: Standardize partnership management processes from due diligence and selection to ongoing monitoring and performance management. Relationship Building: Strengthen partner relationships to embed within teams and develop a “One Team” mindset. Identify & represent Development towards key external partners (specifically Veeva and BigTech), seek to drive mutually beneficial collaboration and ensure the full, x-EVP area exposure of NN is leveraged in negotiations. The position will be primarily based in the headquarters Copenhagen, Denmark. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: MBA, MSc or equivalent, preferably in Technology, or related field required, preferably in combination with a degree in business administration Qualifications in Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Management, Digital Transformations, Change Management, Agile Methodologies, Digital Product Management are a plus At least 8 years of experience from the pharmaceutical / biotech industry with a profound understanding of Drug Development. At least 3 years of experience in consulting Experience negotiating with large vendors, understanding service levels and terms of agreements. Extensive experience in managing strategic partnerships and / or vendors, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or technology sectors, required for Veeva and BigTech Strong understanding of digital transformation in drug development and the role of the key technology platforms, preferably the Veeva and BigTech Vault Platform for Drug Development Extensive experience of developing and executing partnership strategies and frameworks that drive organizational transformation, as well as driving cross-functional projects and initiatives You have an exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and partners as well as executive presence and comfort interacting with both internal stakeholders and vendors. Your expertise spans strategic planning and execution, complemented by excellent communication skills at a senior leadership level, coupled with high energy levels. Additionally, you demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. About the department The Digital Transformation area in Development is a newly created CVP-area of approximately 30 people setting strategic direction, coordinating, catalysing, and governing our Digital Transformation across the Development organisation. In collaboration with digital teams in SVP (Senior Vice President) areas across Development, we identify new opportunities for utilising data and digital solutions for the benefit of patients as well as our organisation.
