Georg Jensen is looking for an Account Manager for our B2B Home area. You will be part of our Nordic Home department placed at the HQ in Frederiksberg, which comprises 13 people covering all wholesale within the Home category to the Nordics, DACH and BNL customers. You will report to the Sales Manager, Denmark.

Georg Jensen has a leading market position in the high-end Jewellery market and premium Home Product market with distribution to the best retailers in the market. We strive to protect our strong brand position to ensure our customers continue to be inspired by Georg Jensen products.

The role
This role particularly covers account management for the customers working with corporate sales, B2B gifting and hospitality area. This role is identified as a key growth area for the years to come, and as such finding the right candidate to lead on this growth is vital for Georg Jensen A/S.
The criteria for success in this position will be to deliver on the agreed revenue targets and KPI’s, while optimizing the Gross Margin and ensuring the sales pipeline and prospecting. Additionally, improvement of internal processes and a high customer and key stakeholder satisfaction is important.

You will also lead on securing sufficient and strong assortment all the way from early idea generation to final product presentation to our customers

Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Key Account Management
  • P&L / Budget responsibility
  • Contract and product management
  • Account planning
  • Contributes to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing and go-to-market strategies for the area
  • Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services
  • Responds to more complex customer enquiries
  • Negotiates prices within limits of authority, and concludes sales orders to meet sales targets
  • Identifies, researches and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeating business.
  • Refers sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organisation in order for it to respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Develops long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts and monitors and adapts sales activities in order to meet the objectives.
  • Establishes annual, quarterly, monthly sales plans and prioritises and schedules own activities to reach these targets.

Your Profile:
The preferred person is commercially strong with a solid sales/KAM toolbox, strong sales acumen and commercial experience in a similar role (preferable with a FMCG background) Experience from the industry is only seen as a plus to understand and accommodate the challenges within the role.

The preferred candidate has demonstrated results from driving and managing growth in a competitive market. The right candidate has also proven ability to grasp, analyze and initiate actions based on strong account insights and understanding.
