As a part of this development, we are looking for an ambitious, proactive and result-oriented Area Sales Manager living anywhere in Mexico. The task will be to increase revenue and market share through a combination of sales and marketing activities.

The primary job functions are:
- Implement and carry out SKOV's sales and marketing strategies in the region together with the Regional Sales Manager, Latin America, along with the rest of the sales and service organization in the region, and key support personnel from other offices.
- Develop and strengthen the relationship with key customer accounts, distributors, and service providers.
- Provide equipment recommendations to key customers and negotiate with decision makers on projects.
- Develop custom-tailored solutions that are in line with market requirements and customer expectations, and in close collaboration with our partners and dealers in the region.
- Keep up to date with market developments, focusing on identifying new marketing opportunities to promote the sale of SKOV equipment.
- Lead and participate in exhibitions and seminars, including preparing and presenting technical information.
- Training as needed of local distributors and service partners in the region to ensure the continued development of local service partners’ competencies.
- This position will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager, Latin America.
Requirements:
- A relevant commercial degree or technical degree (B.Sc. or similar), and business experience in the poultry or pig industry are required.
- A minimum of 7 years of sales experience from an equivalent position with a proven record of sales results is required.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Experience selling and presenting technical project solutions direct to end-users and to distributors is required.
- A strong technical understanding of poultry or pig climate solutions is strongly preferred.
- Experience selling capital equipment in a project environment and negotiating contracts.
- Success in using a solution selling approach in a complex selling environment.
- Ability to prepare a sales and marketing plan for the area of responsibility and implement the plan to achieve targets and objectives.
- Proven record of working indecently and in a sales team environment.
- Proficient PC user who is able use required software tools (Microsoft Office).
- Willing to travel 60% of the time primarily in the area of responsibility. Some international travel to Denmark and other countries will be required.
- Position to be based in area of responsibility.
- Read, write and speak Spanish and English effortlessly.
