Foodjob Nordic is looking for an ambitious commercial profile to join our client - a significant producer of beverages marketed under very well known brands with commitment to great taste, health and sustainability.
Our client has gone through a period of internationalization and further expansion is planned. The Danish market is growing and there is a potential to expand the business through a focused approach towards key customers in especially retail. To spearhead initiatives to ensure a solid foothold in the Danish Market a role as Country Manager Denmark has been created. A role and responsibility that is expected to develop alongside the business.
Responsibilities and goals
As Country Manager you will executing the strategy for the Danish market with responsibility for all sales related activities including revenue, distribution and profit objectives. This implies:
You will receive support from the central organization and will collaborate closely with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance etc.
You are offered an exciting role with a high degree of independence and freedom to operate corresponding to the accountability in the role. The company is an international privately owned company with a global perspective. The business processes are handled in a professional manner, decisions are made quickly and the culture is very team oriented.
The position is intended to be home based and you need to have flexibility to visit customers and to travel within Denmark as well as in Europe.
Your profile
At least 5 years experience in key account management in FMCG combined with a relevant business degree is considered a necessity for success in the role. So is in depth knowledge of Danish retail structure. If you also have experience working with beverages it will be a definite advantage.
On a personal level you need to have an entrepreneurial and solution oriented approach. High level of energy, passion and people skills will also be prerequisites for creating the expected results.
Fluency in Danish and a high level of English and German language skills is a requirement. A solid experience in MS Office and the use of ERP systems is expected.

- Ownership of current customers and acquisition of new customers
- Full responsibility of budget and listings
- Direct reporting to the leadership team
- Data analysis and identification of opportunities in the market
- Implementing the marketing strategy in cooperation with marketing
