At Nilfisk we are leading the digital journey within the cleaning machine industry and are currently seeking an IoT & digital Architect to strengthen the team. As an Architect you will be responsible for leading the design of our MS Azure IoT and web architecture. Further, you will play an active role in evaluating areas of improvement across existing IoT portfolio and digital solutions as well as have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the development of IoT and digital services to our customers.

You will be part of a small team, currently consisting of 3 Architects and will be engaged in Nilfisk IT Business Services, consisting of approx. 50 people located in Denmark US, Germany, Hungary and China.

As an Architect you will be responsible for leading the design of our MS Azure IoT and web architecture. Further, you will play an active role in evaluating areas of improvement across existing IoT portfolio and digital solutions as well as have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the development of IoT and digital services to our customers.
As our new Enterprise Architect you will:
- Lead the development of the application and platform target architecture
- Drive the delivery and support of strategic IT roadmaps
- Together with key stakeholders, lead the development of initiatives to support business and IT roadmaps and strategic key challenges
- Lead and cultivate architecture governance in projects, programs and reviews to ensure quality of solutions and steer any work towards strategic decisions and business value
- Drive advisory, concept development, prototyping and PoC
- Stay updated on new technology trends
- Deliver overview of ongoing and upcoming changes to business processes and IT eco system
The ideal candidate:
- Min. 5 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect
- Significant experience with IoT in MS Azure, web architecture and CMS (Umbraco experience would be a plus)
- Exposure to MS Azure platform
- Experience with Container orchestration, observability, CI/CD etc. would be an advantage
- At ease with Git/Github source control management
- Experience working in agile deployment environments
- Experience in Global and multi-cultural organizations has given you an international mindset and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of different business models, operating models, development models, cost/benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management
- Good understanding of modern security measures and technologies
- Ability to be productive in a global team through self-discipline and motivation, delivering according to schedule
- Ability to multi-task and follow-up on commitments
