Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Can you take technical lead for our Azure and AWS environments?

If you have solid cloud experience and the necessary business acumen to understand and translate stakeholder needs and turn them into solutions, you have just the perfect foundation for this highly exciting position. That is, if you want huge impact on the future cloud infrastructure solutions at the world’s leading provider of IP video surveillance systems. Turn stakeholder needs and wishes into tangible solutions
As Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, your job is to take technical lead for Milestone’s environments in Azure & AWS. You will do so by engaging with various stakeholders internally, to understand their problems, wishes and needs – and come up with possible solutions that balance technical opportunities and business wise “Return On Investment”. All solutions must match your roadmap and overall master plan, that ensures logical connection and conformity in an agile manner. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Take the technical lead for Milestones environments in Azure & AWS
  • Develop a new road map for the cloud development and promote it internally
  • Implement cloud solutions – personally and in collaboration with colleagues
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders internally to identify problems, needs and wishes
  • Ensure best practise implementation – secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient
  • Stay updated within new, technical features in the cloud
  • Plan and implement prioritized work in coordination with Product Owners

We base our work on SCRUM methodology, meaning bi-weekly sprints will be part of your worklife. As part of a small and agile team, you will work hands-on and as a coordinator of cloud related task with colleagues’ both in Brøndby and Sofia.

5+ years’ experience within management and maintenance of cloud services
We are looking for a profile, that can bridge technology and business. As Lead you must thrive on being the one, that make things happen. As such, you do not wait for others to ask. You know how to set the direction, and you have the proactive can-do mentality, it takes to turn ideas into tangible solutions. This also calls for your pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, and your ability to establish relations based on mutual respect and trust. As part of this you can present your ideas, recommendations and solutions in 1:1 talks as well as before a bigger audience. Additionally, your CV comprises:

  • 5+ years’ experience within management and maintenance of cloud services
  • Proven experience in IT Security best practices
  • Certifications – one of the following or similar: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies and/or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • Solid experience with Windows & Linux.
  • Proficiency in scripting
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written

IT Infrastructure – your new team
You will join 7 very dedicated IT professionals, at the Milestone HQ in Brøndby, Greater Copenhagen. We design, deploy and refurbish IT infrastructure systems in Milestone, on-prem and in the cloud (AWS & Azure). We have a close collaboration with IT operation Support in Sofia, Business Application Development, Build, Test Automation, and Finance.
