Key Responsibilities
As Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer in the Industrial IT & Infrastructure team, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in troubleshooting and being the service manager role, which means that you are the single point of contact between TGITS/Infrastructure services and TEPDK/TUDK. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when ensuring the architecture and maintenance of all Industrial & IT Infrastructure in TEPDK and TUDK.
Overall, you have the responsibility of the Industrial layer IT infrastructure, backup/ restore services. You have an architectural role within affiliate IT and Industrial infrastructure, including Physical & Virtual environments, Backup, Storage, Cloud solutions and Disaster Recovery Centers. These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when ensuring the architecture and maintenance of all Industrial & IT Infrastructure in TEPDK and TUDK.
Overall, you have the responsibility of the Industrial layer IT infrastructure, backup/ restore services. You have an architectural role within affiliate IT and Industrial infrastructure, including Physical & Virtual environments, Backup, Storage, Cloud solutions and Disaster Recovery Centers. These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
- Ensure high reliable uptime of TEPDK/TUDK data center(s), including the room, servers, cabling etc.
- Manage both planned maintenance and break-fix activities
- Analyze root cause and formulate corrective action and closure for any significant incidents
- Work closely with TGITS (ASU) to ensure that quality support are provided and SLAs are kept
- Work closely with peer system managers and TGITS on the development and effective deployment of standard procedures and practices.
- Work with local service providers to ensure high reliability of industrial infrastructure
- Administrate services within area, which are not provided by TGITS
- Accountable for Local Remote connection (Citrix Environment)
- Local L3 support for Compute & Cloud domain.
- Collaborate with peer system managers to develop and pursue continual improvement initiatives to drive down total costs of data center operations, infrastructure and industrial infrastructure - drive up service quality.
- Manage relationships with vendors making sure all contractual terms are met
