Join an agile and dynamic software team working on mission critical command & control system solutions and advanced security surveillance.
At Terma in Herlev, you will join the Software Development Department within the C2 (Command & Control) domain - an area of great focus and importance for both Terma, the Danish Navy and Navies around the world. The C2 domain employs 110 dedicated and highly engaged colleagues at our offices in Herlev and Lystrup (Aarhus).
In C2, stable, interdisciplinary and independent teams work according to agile principles and methods focusing on continuous improvement of planning, quality, knowledge sharing and innovation. We work in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment with a modern tool stack comprising of JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube and IntelliJ. As we are experiencing a strong positive development, we are looking for dedicated Software Engineers who will help build on our success.
Develop naval systems in Java
As a developer, you will work in a scrum team where you, together with the rest of the team, will impact the design of our best in class C2 systems. Your primary language is Java, but experience with other object-oriented languages like C++ is also relevant. In short, this means that you will:

- Design and implement solutions in new components as well as integrating with existing components on our platforms
- Analyze user requirements
- Ensure good test coverage of the platform(s)
- Collaborate with testers to ensure a thoroughly verification of our C2 system
We are looking for someone with the following competencies:
- Experience with object-oriented design
- Parallel programming and proper thread handling/synchronization
- Design patterns and SOLID design Principles
- Version control systems (git)
- Problem solving skills
- Relevant education such as; a Master of Science in Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering, or Computer Scientist
- Good English skills, both written and in speech
