You’ll be working in our Offshore Engineering department focusing on all our equipment necessary to handle our components such as towers, blades, nacelles and much more. We have a lot of stakeholders internally, who are all dependent on our equipment to be done on time and in the right quality. For this position, we are looking for a strong technical mind who can support our execution projects with CAD work for our site and pre-assembly specific equipment. The work is typically a standard delivery, but since we’re constantly developing new platforms, there is often new development CAD tasks. You will be working closely together with engineers and project managers within the organization.

How to contribute to our vision

This department is only for CAD designers located in our Vejle office, which is placed in the center of Vejle. The team consists of 11 designers with different specialties and a team lead. The department is placed within our Equipment organization consisting of engineers and project managers. Below is described what this position requires from you:

  • Creation of storage equipment on both pre-assembly and buffer storage
  • Gain and maintain a great overview and knowledge about all relevant equipment
  • Develop new equipment when new platforms are being released
  • Create and maintain a good relationship with our internal and external technicians on harbours
  • Assisting sales and execution projects with standard CAD tasks in busy periods

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a strong CAD designer who can work together with our lead engineers and mechanical engineers, to develop the best possible equipment for our turbines. We prefer that you have experience with NX, but most important is that you have a strong background working with CAD in general. The following criteria’s is necessary to fulfill this position:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience with CAD related softwares (preferably NX)
  • You are an outgoing self-starter and proactively take initiative.
  • You work well in both team setting and independently.
  • You have a result-oriented approach to your work and have excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in reading, writing and verbal English
