As Director of Supply Planning & Planning Excellence at Pandora you will be the overall responsible for a team of 5 managing the inventory at the DCs and service levels to stores in the region. You will work in close cooperation with the global network of DCs, merchandising/ product teams, as well as the rest of the global planning team including our production in Thailand.
Further, you are responsible for a Planning Excellence team of 4, responsible for managing our planning system (Logility), driving development initiatives to support our planning across all of Group Supply Chain, as well as lead the design of our global value chain planning concept “Planning Blueprint”. The position offers a mix between being right in the center of execution to support the commercial agenda (including delivering on Programme NOW brand re-launch), while in parallel keeping a strategic development perspective on the value chain planning setup.
Your areas of responsibility:
You will ensure high availability of products to markets served out of the DCs while balancing inventory levels and addressing excess together with our S&OP team. You will be part of a great global planning community and contribute in development of planning processes across functions, incl. collaborative planning with regional and global stakeholders to support the strategic ‘Programme NOW’ agenda and the next chapter of E2E planning. You will own all internal processes around utilizing Logility in our planning and you can expect to elevate the following job assignments:
Responsible for global supply planning with team of 5 supply planners, including:
- Ensure availability of inventory at DCs and balance service to retail with inventory levels
- Deliver executional transparency and being on top of global value chain performance
- Operational execution of product life cycle planning, including ensuring supply for new launches
- Collaborative value chain planning with merchandising, regional operations and factories in Thailand
- Facilitate weekly planning and order placement cadence, including owner of internal “drumbeat alignment” meetings
Responsible for driving improvements with PLEX team of 4 advanced planning specialists, including:
- Responsible for Planning Blueprint (E2E value chain planning concept)
- Responsible for advanced planning system (Logility)
- Responsible for Group Supply Chain BI and reporting suite
- Responsible for changing the business pipeline
What is needed to succeed:
- A relevant university degree at master level within e.g. Supply Chain Management, Management Engineering, Economics or Business Management
- + 6 years of experience within planning, processes, supply planning, merchandising or supply chain development
- +3 years of management and leadership experience
- Global stakeholder management experience from an international organization
- Experience with advanced planning systems e.g. AX Dynamics and Logility or other similar application ownership, preferably including experience with Agile ways of working.

You will be managing the ‘Supply Planning and Planning Excellence’ team with 9 people who work closely together, help each other out and appreciate an informal and humorous tone.
Additional information:
This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 20 days a year to long-haul locations such as Bangkok, Baltimore and Hong Kong. Start date is as soon as possible.
