About the department:
The Nordic Logistics Team based in Ørestad, Copenhagen, is looking for an ambitious and energetic employee to join the team. Nordic Logistics is responsible for the commercial supply chain operation and logistics in Nordic countries and Ireland. At the same time we set ambitious targets for developing our set-up and aligning towards the needs of our customers.
The job:
You will manage the supply chain operations with various 3PL suppliers, ensuring uninterrupted supply of Novo Nordisk products while acting as a business partner to local management. in supply chain related challenges and opportunities, such as distribution dialogues, product launches, demand and inventory management, sampling, etc. You are expected to focus on the commercial benefits and potential improvement initiatives, drive projects and foster a strong LEAN culture. You also act as a key contact person to various internal and external stakeholders, such as Novo Nordisk Quality organisation, Accounting CoE, Product Supply or local authorities.
Together with experienced colleagues, you will be involved in developing processes and procedures in our supply chain that will enable us to work smarter and/or faster without jeopardising. that distributors operate in accordance with company procedures and GDP quality requirements.
You are expected to handle the above challenges in an ever-changing environment which is full of high profile, emergencies and surprises. You have a quality mind-set – Novo Nordisk does not compromise on patient safety!
Qualifications:
You have a Master’s Degree within a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, equivalent, with preferably +4 years of experience.
You work independently and enjoy a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities. You build relationships across cultures and business’ as well as get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. Project management and leading improvement initiatives comes natural to you. Strong English and Scandinavian language skills are required both written and oral.
