The position As our Senior Project Manager, you will be Work Package Owner (WPO) for Intralogistics flow and will have oversight in developing the road map and design the ideal state flow for our warehouse/ logistics throughout the factories in the AP Expansion global program. It involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders, harvesting the existing knowledge of the company, and combining the inputs into a state-of-the-art material handling and intralogistics technology solution! You will play a key role in ensuring that the solution is well-documented and ready to be implemented with our global sites based in Europe, China, and US. Your activities will include: Inventing and setting the intralogistics standard for the future whilst working closely with vendors and stakeholders globally. Value chain mapping current and ideal state. Creating concreate flow processes and mapping. Interact with key stakeholders to develop standardised load carriers throughout the programme. Identify the most innovative automated solutions and implement them to ensure operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to be part of the core team in building and designing the new organisation and setting the standard whilst in collaboration with AP and finished production (FP). Your workplace will be based Gentofte but as there is collaboration required on a global scale, some international travel will be required. It is estimated this will be a few days per month. Qualifications Your experiences include: Bachelors, Master’s or PhD in Engineering, pharmacy, Business or similar 5+ years of experience within warehouse and logistics. It is advantageous if this from the pharmaceutical industry. Strong leadership and project management skills with experience executing complex projects on a global scale. Knowledge with LEAN processes. Understanding of automation/ IT for process improvement. Great stakeholder management skills and building relations in a global context. As a professional, you have the bigger picture in mind and have worked strategically to drive processes on a global scale. Furthermore, you have great communication skills with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English. You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. Intralogistics is a newly established department. Whilst reporting into the Director of Intralogistics, you will have the opportunity to work alongside 12 consultants helping shape the organisation. Our main goal is to develop an Intralogistics standard covering all material handling from goods in to good out of the factories.
