Are you passionate about people, data, and simulations and do you have the drive and desire to take initiative, be challenged and can you set direction? Do you want to be part of both a cross-organisational team and the production environment where we produce growth hormone for patients all over the world? Then we have the perfect position for you! The position
We are looking for an Experienced Manufacturing Scientist, to join a newly established cross-functional team working with digital twins and process modelling/simulations. Your contribution to the team is the in-depth understanding of a manufacturing facility and the daily work of operators and supporter. You will thus be the link between the Digital Twin developers and the daily operations. In the department we use a “real time planning system” for production planning. This is a “digital twin” or a simulation of our production process. We want to release the potential of the system, and develop the model to include more features and scenarios to help operators and production planners in their daily challenges, but also to do more analytical work on bottlenecks, “equipment freetime” etc. You will thus both develop the model in collaboration with the team and analyse production data within the model. You will together with the team member and management set strategic direction for the Digital Twin journey, to ensure we create real value for our patients and production members. The collaboration with the manufacturing professionals (supporters), operators and Line of Business is essential. Therefore, the position is placed in the Fermentation & Recovery Process Support Team. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: A Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Engineering, Pharmacy or similar. +2 years of experience within the pharmaceutical production. Interest in digitalization, process modelling or coding. Full professional proficiency in English. You don’t need to know simulations and programming languages, as we already have that in the team, but you will bring manufacturing experience and the desire to develop your simulation skills. As a person you are positive and work well in interaction with others. You are a strong communicator and collaborate effortless with people from other professions and backgrounds. You contribute to a positive atmosphere and work culture, and you have a high degree of responsibility and quality awareness. Also, you are not afraid to challenge the status quo and take the lead in finding new and better solutions. About the department
