At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become a part of the ever-growing DSV organisation, where new companies are continuously joining our ranks through DSV´s mergers and acquisitions.

The BCM Road department is a group function under the DSV Road division, responsible for driving the business transformation of the Road business globally. This involves BCM core capabilities such as standardisations, implementations, development and governance of all our Road business processes, core applications and master data across the entire Road organisation (34 countries in Europe, North America & South Africa).

You will be joining us as the executive assistant to the Senior Director in BCM Road. In this role you will be stepping into a fast-paced environment where you will be working closely together with the management team and BCM colleagues. You will experience the EA role to be a matrix of exciting responsibilities and a personal involvement on both operational, tactical, and strategical level in DSV.

Provide high quality administrative support
Your main objective will be to provide administrative support that ensures that the BCM Road management office is run as efficiently as possible, both in appearance and readiness. You will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks ranging from administrative support to handling communication to many different stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

You will be supporting the Senior Director as closest administrative go-to person handling tasks such as project coordination, calendar management, travel arrangements, , etc. In short, you will provide invaluable support, ensuring that nothing falls between the cracks, tying of loose ends and keeping an ever-vigilant overview as you:

  • Manage the overview of the BCM project portfolio and capabilities
  • Take responsibility for internal communication across BCM Road and to external stakeholders
  • Create and distribute management presentations and other communication materials
  • Handle employee capability overview and planning
  • Manage the administrative tasks and decisions of the BCM Road Management office
  • Manage the overview of the BCM project portfolio and capabilities
  • Coordinate all management meetings, incl. workshops and events
  • Plan and facilitate large virtual communication events
  • Prepare meetings and coordinate schedules


Exemplary communication and structural skills
It is vital that you have strong communication and presentation skills as well as the drive and ability to function with minimal supervision, stay organised and adjust to our ever-changing priorities. Operating at top management level, you also need to know how to interact with executives, and excel when it comes to building trust and solid relationships.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, communication or similar
  • Bring experience preferably from a similar position
  • Have great analytical and problem-solving abilities, always paying attention to details
  • Are well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Have experience with communication planning and creating communication material including management presentations
  • Have outstanding verbal and written communications skills in English and Danish
