The position
As a Clinical Supplies Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing a broad range of projects and initiatives supporting the clinical supply chain. You will lead projects ensuring that high complexity clinical trials are operational and delivered timely, and process optimizations to reduce lead time or product waste.
In this role you will:
• Carry projects with stakeholders across the department and Clinical Supplies and interact with stakeholders from other areas in Novo Nordisk.
• Get in depth understanding of Clinical Supplies processes and how they are linked across the supply chain as well as backwards towards production facilities in CMC and use this in the projects.
• Work very independently, with involvement of stakeholders and colleagues in Clinical Supplies at all levels including CS Management, CS Associate Managers
You will be involved in the solutions, so you need to be willing to go into details when needed and have an excellent process understanding. You will function as a change agent that will be a partner for a local management.
For this position it is necesary to be based in Denmark.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
• A master’s degree in engineering, pharmacy or similar
• 5+ years of experience in clinical trial set-up and solid experience working with projects and lean management
• Flair for organising and driving initiatives
• A curios, creative, flexible and a can-do mindset
You are fluent in English both written and spoken.
As a person you are structured and thrive in delivering results and have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. It is natural for you to connect with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, build trust among colleagues and establish profitable working relations throughout the organization.
The department
The department Trial Set-Up is a part of Clinical Supplies in CMC Development. Clinical Supplies is responsible for delivering drugs for Novo Nordisk’s clinical trials around the world. In Clinical Supplies, we ensure trial products on time, in the right quality and quantity for all clinical trials conducted by Novo Nordisk. Our tasks include receival and review of the clinical protocol, setting up the label package for clinical trial application, forecasting product demand, planning packaging of trial products and setting up the Randomisation and Trial Supply Management system. Hence, our processes include many different steps and hand overs.
