About the Department
The Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) team is part of the Strategic Partnering area, in Global Medical Affairs, and we have an ambition of affecting true systemic change in the global healthcare ecosystem through non-competitive, external collaborations. This commitment aspires to lead to fundamental improvements in our shared understanding and treatment of diseases and to change the way all stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem work together for the benefit of patients and society.
The Position
Leading projects in the Public-Private Partnerships team, you use your knowledge and strong project management toolbox to drive strategic PPP projects forward, in close collaboration with external partners from academia, industry, public organizations, and authorities – and of course other parts of Novo Nordisk.
You will be responsible for:
The successful completion of the PPP projects is highly dependent on your ability to connect with both internal and external stakeholders, including EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries Associations), other pharma companies, authorities, payers, and patient organizations.
We know we ask for a lot: someone who can talk to and act on many organizational levels and a diplomat with thorough entrepreneurial skills to develop new projects, that won’t be obvious to other people yet. You have excellent 1:1 communication- and planning skills, which enable you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress, and prioritize accordingly. You are self-driven, independent, and persuasive. You are both able to focus on your own project and be flexible when changes happen, that need your support in other places in the team.

The Position

You will be responsible for:
- Driving our large IMI (Innovative Medicines Initiative) SOPHIA project
- Scoping, planning, and executing other project activities, and establishing a smooth and effective collaboration within cross-organizational and international teams
- Reporting on project activities and performance, and creating engaging presentations to internal and external stakeholders, that drive buy-in and understanding of the value of our PPPs create
- Securing transparency of activities, keeping deadlines, awareness of organizational resource needs, and motivating others to collaborate together

Qualifications
As an ideal candidate for this role, you:
- Hold a Master’s degree combined with formal project management training and 7+ years of strong project management experience in cross-functional projects
- Fluent in English and understanding other cultures
- Have good insight and experience in the pharmaceutical R&D value chain, along with strong analytical and conceptual skills are expected for this position, together with the ability to create and present in an engaging manner and being able to keep track of large budgets
- It is a plus if you have experience with public funding, e.g. through Horizon Europe or the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI).
- Are self-driven, and take responsibility for your own deliverables, although you have a strong team around you, that insists on sharing ideas and experiences for everyone to perform better together.
