As our data science and engineering intern, you'll be diving headfirst into real-world applications that are shaping the future of cell therapy research. You'll be a crucial part of our team, and your work could be instrumental in our daily operations. Your role will be centered around two main areas: front-end development and data mining.
Your main responsibilities are included but are not limited to: Co-developing data mining approaches, data visualization, and focusing on extrapolating novel insights from experiment data Creating applications/software that automatically analyses a large amount of data types to supplement other scientists in their daily work Supporting the onboarding of laboratory instruments to the local network Overseeing the experiment data synchronization, and related tasks, all in cloud environments and virtual machines In this role, you will be interacting with scientists from diverse backgrounds, allowing you to learn what it means to do cross-disciplinary communication.
Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months Working hours: 18-37 hours per week ( with flexibility) Location: Måløv, Denmark Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows Full-time Danish work permit is required Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams. Qualifications
You are a student who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree within the relevant fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematical Modeling, Computation, or similar. We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about data science and engineering, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
To succeed in this role, you have: Experience with SQL / Sqlite3 and Python Experience with at least one of the following web frameworks Stream lit, Flask, Dash, Vue.js, Django Good statistical skills with the possibility have taken courses in signal processing Unix environments proficiency using Virtual Machines (VM) Fluency in both spoken and written English Preference (nice to have): Knowledge about LLMs and NLP Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Domino Data Lab As a person, you are a creative self-starter who can work independently and collaborate with others. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and effectively prioritise your workload. About the Department
