The position We are looking for a student assistant with a passion for customer engagement analytics and transferring insights into actionable prospects for the organisation. You will help us make insights-driven, better-informed, customer-centric decisions and support the delivery of data and narrative, allowing business to gain a greater understanding of customer behaviours and decision-making processes. As Customer Insights Student Assistant, you will:
  • Support data management and CRM system maintenance - including the deployment of new features in the CRM system and other commercial excellence tools
  • Develop and optimise internal data tools i.e., visualisation and validation of data
  • Gather and analyse data across the customer engagement ecosystem (CRM system, website, sales database) to generate commercial insights for the organization
  • Support regular reports and updates to management, marketing, and sales; and support other commercial excellence operations
  • Help to create training materials and to roll-out commercial initiatives
  • The position will be approximately 15-20 hours per week during normal working hours, with the possibility of more in peak periods. The position offers flexibility to fit around your studies. Qualifications You are studying at a university or business school in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Statistics, or another relevant degree with a solid academic record and digital knowledge, as well as an interest in software and web technology. Ideally, you have 1.5-2 years remaining of your studies and you are a fast learner with previous work-life experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office applications and experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong Excel skills and a natural flair for IT systems and numbers
  • Experience in data visualisation and have been exposed to (or have a strong interest in) data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense, Adobe Analytics)
  • Structured mindset with strong analytical and good communication skills.
  • Fluency in English: written and oral

About the department The Commercial Excellence team in Novo Nordisk’s Danish affiliate based in Ørestad, Copenhagen is looking for an engaged student to support the organization in meeting customer needs and expectations. The purpose of the team is to drive effective commercial execution, generate customer insights and support the commercial strategy across all functions in Novo Nordisk Denmark. The team is part of an international and diverse group of highly dedicated professionals in the Finance and Operations department. The department is characterised by a lot of energy, collaboration, and trust.
