Management assistant

The position

As Management Assistant you will support across DEI and be part of the administrative team in the CVP area. You will be working with highly engaged colleagues and collaborate with internal stakeholders on several levels.

As Management Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, planning, preparing, optimising, and following up on a wide range of administrative tasks and processes across the department.
  • Coordination and planning of activities, meetings, and events
  • You will be an instrumental part of defining how the team works together and is seen outside of the area.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the newly formed area and your colleagues are supported with a structure that enables us to meet our challenging goals.
  • Providing general administrative support to managers and teams across the VP area
  • Preparation of agendas and minutes for key meetings, travel arrangements, settling of travel expenses.

You will collaborate with many different internal and external stakeholders and be a key employee in the department. We always invest in your personal and professional growth as you navigate a globally dynamic environment and work with many different tasks.

While you will formally be reporting to the head of DEI you will support across the department, the head of DEI and the leadership team.

You will also be involved in general day-day LoB tasks and drive various projects across the area.

Furthermore, you will be supporting Line of Business budgets, administer and maintain department SharePoint and Teams sites.

Qualifications

  • You are a positive team player, flexible, resourceful, organised, and efficient, with a high level of integrity as well as loyal and service minded.
  • You are IT savvy and work in a structured manner with a sense for details.
  • You have a flair for numbers and experience with the planning and controlling of budgets.
  • You proactively act and take ownership for tasks and welcome new responsibilities.
  • You have the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
  • You are a strong communicator and proficient in both written and spoken English.

Furthermore, you have a relevant bachelor’s degree or administrative education with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

About the department

You will join an area that supports Development and Corporate Development in internalising external innovation across all 5D elements. The support involves: Innovation, assessments, due diligence, integration, and alliance management.

We are based in Søborg but may also have colleagues based in US.

The Management Assistant reports to the Head of Development External Innovation.
