Would you like to drive the full life cycle management for our market leading GLP-1 portfolio in our Diabetes Commercial Unit?
Due to rapid growth and portfolio expansion, we are looking for Project Vice President to join our Global team. The role will offer an exciting opportunity to lead commercialisation across the value chain to ensure that we continue making transformative medicine available to millions of people living with type 2 diabetes.
The Project Vice President (PVP) will lead the team, that is responsible for global commercial strategy and life cycle strategies for one of our main Diabetes GLP-1 products.
This role is based in Denmark, Soborg and requires some global travel. Alternative base location in Europe, with frequent presence in Denmark, could be considered.
The position
The PVP has a highly visible position in the organisation. Reporting to Corporate Vice President of our commercial Diabetes GLP-1 Portfolio Unit, the PVP collaborates with a wide range of global stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team, and colleagues across our global value chain including medical affairs, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, market access, marketing, manufacturing, as well as regions, key affiliates, and support functions. Furthermore, the PVP will engage with scientific associations, patient organisations and key opinion leaders.
The PVP will lead a highly skilled team of three and will use leadership and influencing skills to drive outcomes across the organisation.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include setting the direction, managing the product lifecycle plans and development, creating and follow up on project plans. The PVP will report the status and progress of the project to the governance board and to the Leadership Team. In addition, the PVP will ensure the availability of necessary competencies and quality. They will evaluate and mitigate project risks and maintain communication with internal and external project stakeholders.
The PVP will be responsible for one of our key Diabetes brand, which is a growth driver and a critical strategic brand for Novo Nordisk. This role is critical to ensure the development and delivery of our best-in-class strategy, that help us maximise the value across the full product life cycle. Qualifications
You will bring broad commercial and scientific background coupled with a clear understanding of drug development projects and launch planning.
To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proven successful track record in a senior commercial leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscape and collaborate effectively is an essential skill required in the role. You will also bring a strategic mindset and innovative way of thinking.
Experience within diabetes it is an advantage if you have a background covering a range of therapeutic areas.
