Finance Group Finance Product Costing
Power Solutions Costing, a department under Vestas Group Finance, is responsible for ensuring objective and transparent support for decision-makers by delivering financial reporting and analysis on supply chain costs to relevant stakeholders in the business and senior management.
This includes strict control on product costs within manufacturing and procurement by creating transparent and reliable cost estimates for analysis and decision purposes while keeping stakeholders accountable for target gaps and follow-up.

Finance Group Finance Product Costing

We are looking for a person that combines working with stakeholders as a business partner with the capability to work in a structured manner with cost tracking and validation.
Responsibilities
- Financial controlling of product costs and improving inherent procedures and guidelines to create a transparent product cost structure to support cost tracking, cost analysis and reporting
- Full understanding of the product cost structure to enable cross-functional business improvement projects
- Preparing, monitoring and controlling of cost estimates
- Financial analysing of financial accounts including variance reports, root cause countermeasures, opportunity analysis, business cases and compliance
Qualifications
- Relevant Master's degree most likely within Finance, or Engineering with a financial mindset
- Experience working within finance, engineering, manufacturing or procurement. Recently graduated candidates with a curious mindset and an eagerness to learn and develop will be considered as well
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, sourcing & costing
- Proficient user in Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools - experience in SAP, SAP BI suite is perceived a benefit, but not a prerequisite if you have great IT and System Skills

- Works with the details and can take a step into the helicopter to assess the full picture.
- Works with different stakeholders in a global environment to build commitment and trustworthy relationships both service-minded and result-oriented.
- Capable to comprehend complex solutions coupled with a solid analytical, structured & fact-based approach based on good systems to support this
- Quality-oriented - can validate own data results
- Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks with varying timelines & priorities
- Structured and analytical, transparent and pragmatic
- Good system and business process understanding
- A good team member and good at keeping close to stakeholder
