Technical Project Manager – Global Installation & Commissioning Onshore
Are you a Technical Project Manager with Onshore Construction experience within the wind industry and truly would like to join a global market leader in renewable energy? This is an exciting and complex role for the future of our business and if it sounds like you then do not hesitate to apply!
In Global Installation & Commissioning we focus on development of Onshore Construction Strategies and Concepts as an important design parameter both for present and future Wind Power Plant solutions. We drive best in class execution by construction improvements to advance safety, reduce time and cost, creating value for the operational teams on current and future execution projects.
We focus on co-development of current and future WTG platforms ensuring that lessons learned and ideas from operational stakeholders are taken into account when developing current and future WTG platforms.
We support the implementation of concepts and new Wind Power Plant solutions ensuring information sharing with stakeholders across the construction value chain ensuring construction readiness with new strategies and concept. Furthermore, we strive to learn, develop and adapt based on best practices from both wind and other relevant industries.

Responsibilities
- Drive construction strategies and concepts relevant for both current and future wind power plant solutions
- Define Construction Requirements on both product and module level.
- Act as construction technical lead in technology projects and drive technical construction deliverables
- Provide design inputs and participate in Peer and Technical reviews
- Reviewer of construction documentation
- Identifying and report on cost levels, risks & opportunities in corporation with construction product project team.
- Identifying optimization areas within installation & commissioning in corporations with the respective regional installation & commissioning departments.
- Document and describing improvement proposals based on advancement in safety, reduction of time and cost across the Vestas onshore product portfolio
- Driving improvement initiatives from idea, through development and implementation into product development in alignment with respective line organizations
- Support Construction Sales with technical construction details
Qualifications
- Technical background (Engineering etc)
- Extensive experience in Onshore Construction Operations
- Possess project management skills (E.g. Prince 2/IPMA)
- Proactive and independent but also enjoy being part of an agile and motivated team
- Able to transfer knowledge to others via excellent stakeholder management
