With our corporate strategic milestone of being "the global leader in sustainable energy," we have ambitious growth targets for Vestas Service's digital products in the coming years. To achieve such targets, the Data Platform team is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager - API Data Services to manage the overall scope and execution of the Vestas Service API product roadmap, which enables digital solutions for end-users including operational tools, customer-facing products, and analytics.
The ideal candidate for this role has experience delivering data-centric products and is skilled at navigating seamlessly between technical software teams and business stakeholders. You will be a key member of the growing Vestas Service Data Ecosystem team, which is focused on delivering the high-priority data services required for current and future business needs to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As part of the Strategic Business Architecture department, the Lead Digital Product Manager - API Data Services will be responsible for the overall scope and execution of the Vestas Service API product roadmap, in alignment with our technical teams, commercial teams and digital customer channel department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an emerging product area within Vestas Service from conception to launch. Specific responsibilities include:

Responsibilities
As part of the Strategic Business Architecture department, the Lead Digital Product Manager - API Data Services will be responsible for the overall scope and execution of the Vestas Service API product roadmap, in alignment with our technical teams, commercial teams and digital customer channel department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an emerging product area within Vestas Service from conception to launch. Specific responsibilities include:
- Handling the overall scope and prioritised execution of API product use cases that create concrete, proven business value for key stakeholders to Vestas Service
- Completing API product requirements gathering and aligning the business needs across various internal stakeholders; including running workshops and establishing processes for requirements documentation and communication
- Working hands-on with the API product development team to handle the backlog and detailed product delivery, which includes prioritising functionality, writing digital user stories, completing User Acceptance Testing, conducting product demos and driving usage and customer insights
- Handling the deployment of our API product bundles, including supporting business product managers in pilot launches with key Service customers/end users and establishing stakeholder forums and communication channels
- Owning the required API product business case justification and relevant documentation.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in software product management, agile product development or equivalent consultant experience from relevant industry
- Ability to drive a data-centric product roadmap involving multiple systems/platforms, with experience in both strategy and execution
- Experience implementing best practices around: agile software product management, business-driven software product requirements
- Experience in driving decisions and alignment across business and technical teams
- Great oral and written communication skills in English.

- Good communication skills and intuition for aligning with stakeholders at every level -- internal and external, technical and business, from senior leaders to technical professionals
- Good cross-functional collaboration skills; able to create clarity and focus in complex and dynamic technical contexts
- Strategic value-driven mindset paired with solid execution skills; the ability to align structure and processes across a complex global organisation
- Ability to clearly define project scope boundaries, manage input from diverse stakeholder groups and summarise/prioritise complex data business cases
- Skilled in utilising data to make good decisions when confronted by ambiguity. Analyse KPIs to identify, size and prioritize improvement opportunities. Develop regular reporting as needed.
- Ability to develop trusting relationships across the organization, including within corporate functions and lines of business.
