Are you looking for an opportunity to play a key role in the development of new Diabetes Injectable Products? Do you have experience with driving processes from product development to large scale production? And do you have experience with pharma-, food or ingrediency manufacturing? About the department
‘New Product Introduction’ (NPI) main responsibility is to prepare large scale production of new insulin products, which have completed trial phase 1 and 2. NPI is a part of the Product Supply Organisation situated in the Diabetes Finished Products Manufacturing Development. The department consist of 54 employees divided into 4 teams situated in Bagsværd. Via our vast experience with product performance during production, NPI are a valued contributor to the development of new production technologies and processes.
You will be part of the team ‘NPI Manufacturing’ where we always do our best to help each other, while having fun as well!
The job
In this role you will play an important part in preparing new insulin products for production. Your task will be to plan and prepare production instruction and create batch process records. You will run validation of the insulin filling processes, and secure production approval of new products. You will work closely together with the department’s chemists using PPQ standards, and you will secure a proper hand over of instructions, records and documentation to the production sites.
Furthermore, you will work with deviation handling, production and process optimisation and securing cGMP compliance. Documentation and regulatory compliance are an essential part of the job as is technical writing and application reports for approval of new products. Participation in authority inspections from Danish and American authorities are mandatory.
One of many interesting challenges in the future will be assessing suitable Novo Nordisk production sites for new products around the globe, based on estimated market sales and sales regions. Travel activities between 10 – 20 days per year may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing colleague with an education as engineer, pharmacist or other relevant academic background. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience from working with preparing new products for production in either the pharmaceutical-, ingrediency-, or food industry. Experience with GMP and Aseptic production of pharmaceuticals or clinical products is an advantage.
As a person you are flexible and quality oriented and you thrive in a changing environment with ambitious deadlines. You enjoy providing support to others, have a good sense of humour and you possess the ability to stay in control and keep calm in stressful situations. You view technical writing and documentation as a vital and important part of your job, and you have strong communication skills in both verbal and written Danish and English.
