Then we may have just the right job for you, as we are looking for an experienced Associate Manager to head up a QA team in DFP QA ManDev QC.

About the department

Our department consists of 28 dedicated employees being responsible for assuring quality and compliance of QC laboratories and Manufacturing development activities for DFP production sites across the world. In close cooperation with our stakeholders, we ensure a high level of quality and have a key function in quality assurance of the new technologies coming into production and to support and improve processes and laboratory performance across DFP sites.

To ensure even higher focus on each of our activities the department has recently been divided into 3 teams. The open position is in the QA for QC team who is responsible for assuring quality and compliance of DFP Manufacturing Development activities in the QC laboratories.

The position

You will be leading a new team of 8 competent and experienced QA employees and you will assume a key role by leading, developing and shaping your team and improve how we work with quality assurance. It will be your responsibility that QA supports the operational QC laboratories in DFP QC, to ensure testing of products is performed in compliance. Furthermore, the chemical and microbiological competence center in DFP is supported by QA and this includes e.g. method validations and implementation of new methods and technologies in QC laboratories.

You will, together with your team, ensure to build and maintain a close collaboration with the stakeholders and common alignment. Simplicity and efficient daily operation are in focus in the department and needs to be further developed. To succeed, you must be a visible leader with clear goal setting abilities, and coaching skills which will bring development into the team.

In this role, you will refer to the Senior Manager and you will have an active part in the development of the department.

Qualifications

As you will be leading a newly established team it is a must that you have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a people manager being able to lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver their best. Furthermore, you have a master´s degree in pharmacy, chemistry or equivalent and preferable 3 years of experience from quality assurance and/or quality control laboratories.

You have a can-do attitude and proactively strive for higher levels of performance not being afraid of being challenged by peers and employees. You need to have an excellent quality mind-set being able to balance compliance and product quality when making decisions and can stay firm when needed to secure the quality and compliance aspects. You can differentiate your communication depending on the target group and present your arguments in a professional way.

Lastly, you are well organized and create strong results by engaging your employees in taking pride in delivering on their objectives.
