Are you a passionate and seasoned leader with solid experience from gourmet restaurants and have you worked in the exclusive end of the conference or hotel industry? Then we offer a unique opportunity to drive the further development of our two heritage conference centres, cornerstones of our 95+ years existence and corporate history. Your key responsibility will be to successfully develop and deliver outstanding guest experience including high integrity to VIPs as well as nurture the unique locations’ history and characteristics.

The position

As leader of our two cultural heritage conference centres, we expect that you will leverage your experience and innovative skills to create a unique experience for our guests.

From their booking of either day, evening or overnight stays, you ensure personal service and an experience that makes the most of our unique locations while providing gourmet dining with matching wines. As an excellent host, you ensure each guest feels welcome in a relaxed and respectful atmosphere. You represent the Novo Nordisk culture and manage everything with high integrity. You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at any organisational level and you bring experience from serving international guests.

As a leader, you focus on delivering successfully end-to-end. You will manage a team of highly skilled chefs, some also sommeliers, and administrative personnel. You are responsible for developing, attracting and recruiting team members. You are expected to always deliver at high standard, actively seek and use feedback in continuously improving the services with innovative ideas. This includes developing the conference centres with respect for their cultural heritage as well as managing budgets and financial reporting.

The position requires a changing work schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We expect that you are motivated by further developing our exclusive heritage conference centres and that you have:

  • Strong communication & proven leadership skills in continuously developing both services and teams
  • Proven experience as F&B Manager or Head chef at gourmet restaurants, preferably with international experience
  • Sommelier education or documented knowledge of wine
  • Experience serving VIPs
  • Experience with managing budgets and financial reporting
  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite applications as well as booking and financial systems

Additionally, you are fluent in Danish & English, both written and spoken.

About the department

The team at Hvidøre & Domus Hagedorn consist of 17 highly engaged team members, who work everyday to provide a unique experience for our guests at the conference centres.

Our experienced chefs all come with extensive experience from the industry. At Hvidøre and Domus Hagedorn, the chefs interact and also service the guests as hosts and waiters, professionally presenting the food & matching wines.

As leader of our two heritage sites, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Product Supply, Quality & IT Business Support. On a daily basis, you work closely with specialist from our Corporate Facilities area.
