Lead our value demonstration platform to include new ways of working with our portfolios
LEO Pharma is looking for an experienced evidence professional to lead our Evidence Platform & G3M Bio-statistics function. In this role you will be responsible for our evidence development and implementation of a payer-focused and patient-centric value demonstration platform, key to determining LEO Pharma’s ability to help people with skin diseases.
LEO Pharma has embarked on a growth journey to become the preferred dermatology care partner in the world, dedicated to helping people achieve healthy skin. Our strategy aims to accelerate our efforts in in-novative therapeutics while strengthening our established portfolio and our global footprint in medical dermatology.
The job
In this position, you will head up the Evidence Platform & G3M Biostatistics team and ensure that we take next steps in developing our function. Key responsibilities will be:
Lead, build and maintain a high performing team of 5-6 passionate biostatisticians and program-mers, providing leadership, direction and effective management and contribute as a key member of LEO Pharma’s Global Pricing & Market Access Leadership Team Design, lead and implement our new Evidence Platform and Excellence Framework for our late stage development for specific needs of Market Access, Health Economics & Outcome Research and Medical Affairs.
The teams key focus areas are:
Work with clinical phase 3 data and phase 4 data from both studies and external databases – and providing input to Statistical Analysis Plans and Clinical Study Reports in close collaboration with colleagues in Biometrics in Global Research & Development Be strategic partner in communication of scientific data (peer reviewed publications) working closely with Medical Affairs, HEOR and the cross-functional Publication Team. Support strategic work as well as scientific analyses with epidemiological data through finding ac-cess to and assessment of data such as in systematic literature reviews or through databases Support in development of new data collection approaches e.g. through use of LEOs technical in-novations Support HEOR in all statistical aspects of their evidence generation strategy for an individual brand (HEOR is the strategy owner of the Payer evidence plan)
Your qualifications
We expect you to bring:
University degree in biological science or economic science, e.g. a MSc or PhD in Statistics or Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Minimum of 10 years' experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry and/or allied consultan-cy services, providing a global experience as well as solid technical and scientific knowledge in the field of Health Technology Assessment and HEOR research methods. Being up to date on innovations in data collection and a strong drive to find new approaches and sources to fit stakeholders requirements and at the same time provide good efficiency for LEO Pharma Proven track record of inspirational line management and track record of building effective teams, drive vision and purpose as well as empowering people to excel Experience of external communication and of contributing to peer-reviewed scientific publications from pharmaceutical, biotechnology or public health industry, or academia Experience in epidemiology is an advantage but not a requirement
The position is based at the Headquarters of LEO Pharma in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will cooperate closely with R&D Biometrics, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, our three Regions and colleagues in our affiliates across the world.
Global Pricing & Market Access and your new department
Global Pricing & Market Access is responsible for the Payer side of LEO Pharma’s engagement with the ex-ternal environment. We are a dedicated department that works based on ambitious goals working closely with our G3M (Global Marketing, Market Access & Medical Affairs) colleagues as well as other colleagues and stakeholders across the world.
The Evidence Platform & G3M Biostatistics team is generating evidence both for influencing directly in payer negotiations/submissions and for communicating unmet needs within dermatology as well as evidence supporting the dermatology community. The team has a strong track record of delivering through scientific publications at international conferences and other arenas. The development of LEO Pharma’s new innovative products provides the team the opportunity taking new steps in our journey towards creating an Evidence Platform and Excellence Framework, enabling an increased focus on Real World Data collection and Epidemiology. The task ahead is to shape a future approach that goes beyond LEOs 2025 strategy and beyond today’s traditional industry focus on data collection – to support LEO Pharma in pioneering the field of Dermatology.
