On behalf of Goodvalley, we are searching for a Director of Pig Production in Poland
At Goodvalley, we are constantly working to produce food of the highest quality with respect for nature and the environment. We believe it is natural to cultivate our own land to produce our own crops. We harvest the crops ourselves and turn it into feed for the pigs, just as we raise our own pigs and process our own meat. This is how we ensure quality – all the way.
Now, we are experiencing an increasing interest for our products in supermarkets in Poland which raises the need for assuring efficient and sustainable supply of raw material from our pig production units.
We are now searching for a Director of Pig Production to continue the company’s growth and development regarding animal health, welfare, and sustainability within farming from field to fork.
You will play a key part in working on Goodvalley’s vision of producing excellent quality food while having the utmost respect for nature. In other words, securing that the pig production department is developing together with the other business areas within the Goodvalley organisation.
In addition, as Director of Pig Production, you will make sure that your team of farm managers is engaged and has a clear vision of the further development of the company´s strategy. Furthermore, you are expected to lead, coach, and motivate your farm managers and ensure, that they are committed to their work and are passionate about the company’s vision. You will have 10 managers in direct report to you and approximately 450 colleagues with Danish, Polish and Ukrainian nationalities.
We expect you to have management experience and preferably also experience from managing managers. You have worked in a large organisation and a wish to work in the agricultural sector on an international level.

About Goodvalley
Goodvalley was founded in 1994 and has worked with sustainable agriculture in Eastern Europe for more than 25 years. We produce our own pigs, cultivate our own crops which we use in the production of feed for our animals. We slaughter and produce our own Goodvalley products and use waste products from our production process in our biogas plants which generates green energy to be used inside our own organization. We employ more than 2300 people across our companies in Poland, Ukraine, Russia and Denmark. We produce 1.2 million pigs annually, crop 42.000 ha. and run 9 biogas plants and 1 slaughterhouse.
