About the department
In Diabetes Finished Products site Hillerød, Filling & Inspection, we are responsible for filling insulin on cartridges at highly automated and advanced equipment. We are proud to work in a newly established facility that in near future will support the market with insulin to change living with diabetes for our patients. What makes our department exciting to work in is that we are just about to go from project state to production state which is a challenging and exciting transformation for both employees and managers.

We are located in Hillerød where 80 dedicated colleagues are looking forward welcoming you.

In DFP HI Filling & Inspection, we are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by constantly improving our operational effectiveness and applying a strong lean operational system. The position
In your new team, you will be responsible for all our skilled workers supporting our Filling Lines and Inspection Lines in collaboration with the operator team and the other support teams. Your employees are working in shifts and are overall responsible of line performance, maintenance and improvements. Hence strong collaboration with your team leader colleagues is essential. You will be referring to local management, but will collaborate closely with our functions in Logistics, IT/automation, Wash & Sterilization, Environmental monitoring, Facility, Lean, Training etc..

As Team Leader, you will work closely with your people to keep a high level of professional passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit.

You will create a culture ready to challenge systems, processes and ensure ongoing optimisation by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees. You are energised by being on the shop floor with your employees helping them to tackle the problems and improve performance. By knowing your process in depth, you are able to help them solve their problems.

You will ensure transparency, follow up on performance and set direction for your team. You will do this by being approachable and communicating clearly and effectively in close dialogue with your peers in other leadership positions.

Working in close collaboration with your own manager you will help maintain unity in the department and contribute to reaching long term strategic goals.

Qualifications
You can be an Engineer, Pharmacist or something completely different. The most important thing is to have leadership capabilities, see the challenge in working with production and a visible passion for taking up the challenges a leader will meet.

You are experienced within lean management and can develop and deploy systems and good routines that helps your employees to work effectively when you are not present.

You are a social and positive type of person and you work in a proactive and solution-oriented manner. Knowledge sharing comes natural to you and you work systematically and with dedication to create extraordinary results together with your employees and other stakeholders. You have a strong sense of quality and know the importance of complying with the standards and regulations of an aseptic production environment. We expect you to be fluent in Danish and English.

Prior management experience is a clear advantage in this position.
