Head of Editorial Content a new music streaming service in India
For our new office in Mumbai, we are looking for an experienced Head of Editorial Content with a passion for music to join our growing and dedicated team.
In this role you will oversee and write feed cards for emails, campaigns, in-app, webpage, press releases, social media, and everywhere else where we communicate with our users. You will develop and implement editorial content strategies and create, manage, and execute social media campaigns in close collaboration with the local team and the global marketing, tech and design teams at the Moodagent HQ, Copenhagen.
You will also provide daily editorial feed cards like articles, features, and other content to ensure a strong presence of the local music scene across all our channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stay updated with the latest releases and trends to ensure that your team creates content that is relevant and consistent with the Moodagent tone of voice.
- Continuous dialogue with the label relations manager and the marketing teams.
- Deliver quality content that goes into the feed cards and is subsequently used by the marketing teams on Social Media
- In collaboration with the label relations manager and your local editors, you decide which new releases are featured in various editorial channels both in-app and in newsletters etc.
- Making sure your content and music selections lives up to all applicable legal obligations.
- Oversee the curation of featured playlists
- Tracking of performance on feed cards and in-app recommendations
- Reporting to and continuous dialogue with the global editorial lead
- Creating newsletters for your local market with engaging editorial content
- Overall and editorial responsibility for production of regional podcasts.
- Develop and pitch new editorial-concepts that will strengthen the Moodagent experience.
- Ensure a positive working environment for your team-members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- English and Hindi (fluently written and read)
- 5+ years communications and/or editorial experience
- A creative and innovative approach deliver quality content that goes into the feed cards
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical approach and experienced in SEO tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- The ability to multitask while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of CMS, proficiency in marketing automation platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish a rapport with others on the team and external parties in the same manner
- Collaborative, team-focused style of working. Self-sufficient and a positive attitude, a natural problem solver
