As a leader you will have a variety of responsibilities, which includes, but are not limited to, the following three areas:
Annual next-year growth planning
• Responsible to set annual sales targets and drive CL sales performance, customer targeting and prioritization.
• Establish and align required sales targets for CL across products, verticals, regions and areas
• Analytical and project management skills, working throughout the organization and communication with Senior Management
• Responsible for market analyses to help set initial growth ambition levels ahead of annual growth planning
• Responsible for aligning the CL target with relevant stakeholders across the organization
Long-year growth
• Responsible for setting long term commercial growth ambitions for CL
• Responsible for ideating changes that can ensure ‘quantum leaps’ for CL and subsequently responsible for implementation
In-year growth driving
• Responsible for creating actionable short-term commercial plans based on expected future global performance and drive implementation of these
• Align with Capacity, REG CL and Commercial to create and own short-term plans
Partnership
• Partner with LTA team to develop a solid sales enablement foundation for CL product offering: Ensure that LTA and platform teams have a clear understanding of the product requirements to sell with desired quality
• Ensure appropriate support structure is in place for required lead generation, including personal direct and active engagement when required
• Partner with BPO, regions and sales teams to drive sales pipeline and performance versus targets through established metrics and governance
• Partner and collaborate closely with Regional and Sales & Marketing teams to establish and drive effective customer targeting for CL products
• Partner with Demand Management, BPO and Head of Strategic Development to identify and subsequently implement initiatives with Sales team that will enable in-year growth

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in civil engineering or Business Management. You have a sound understanding of financial tools/capital budgeting and well versed with Scrum methodology
Other qualifications
• Highly experienced Contract Logistics Leader expert with a proven track record in assessing market needs and building strategic plans focused on growth
• Experience of commercial management and development in logistics industry
• Proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning opportunities from existing and new customers, through combined personal and collaborative selling efforts at “Director Level”
• Significant experience of owning and managing P&L of large business portfolios
• Proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organisation, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally
• Leadership experience within complex time critical projects
• Highly proficient in creating convincing business cases
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to co-ordinate globally across teams, facilitate workshops.
• A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player with a collaborative mindset
• Self-motivated, who can complete tasks without supervision and who can evaluate and manage risks appropriately
