We are currently looking for a Demand and S&OP Planning Manager for Contract Logistics who will responsible for establishing and maintaining the planning infrastructure and algorithms. This infrastructure will support the customer volume planning for the warehouse and distribution operations performed by the area operations teams.

You will partners with cross-functional teams: Finance, Tech & Platform Teams, CEN Product & Growth & Functional Operations, Regional & Area teams. Together you build and maintain the forecasting & planning infrastructure, in partnership with the system teams, and reports up-to-date and accurate management reports, statistics and analysis.
Other key tasks:
• Facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders.
• Own the standardization of the planning processes globally.
• Provide training documents and advocates the regional and area teams performing planning activities.
• Assess simulation results and the business impact of trends.
• Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure that they are delivered.
• Scope out requirements for the Maersk technology teams supporting the planning systems.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field. An excellent communicator, both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and the variances to goals and present these finding in a review forum.
Other qualifications are;
• 5+ years supply chain, logistics management, e-commerce and/or project management experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prepare, report and interpret large sets of planning data.
• 5+ years of experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook.).
• 5+ years of experience with SQL.
• 3+ years of experience working with IT professionals.
• Strong proficiency to communicate and negotiate in English.
