Ocean Customer Logistics (OCL) support:
Leading multi-regional & multi-trade hub contingency coordination, providing guidance and prioritization amongst operational and commercial drivers in ocean customer logistics.

Key responsibilities
The 3 key elements to the role are:
1) Hub Contingency plan development
• Assemble contingency team including primary members from Global Execution Center (GEC), OCL and Network and Markets (NnM).
• Build standard contingency plans for all Maersk Hubs in cooperation with the contingency team.
• Lead contingency team to generate multiple hub disruption scenarios and recommend contingency actions for each.
• Gain full understanding of the flows involved in each hub, along with the customer impact and cost of each potential contingency action.
• Asses strategic locations for repatriating hub moves during contingencies.
2) Hub Contingency plan maintenance
• Create, implement and own operating system whereby each standard hub contingency is refreshed on a quarterly basis.
• Recommend strategic hub action to be taken if and when required.
3) Lead Hub Contingencies
• Attend CMT meetings to guide primary and secondary contingency team members on scenario implementation.
5-10% Travel requirement when developing standard hub contingencies and the event of implementing actual plans.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in terminal, berthing or flow related roles. OCL and/or NnM experience is highly preferable.
You are able to demonstrate past cases where largescale coordination and/or facilitation was required. You have the ability to lead a discussion and negotiate with internal/external stakeholders.
You:
• Have excellent conceptualization and analytical skills.
• Are able to produce clear analytical output and business case
recommendations for management review.
• Are able to put yourself in the shoes of the customer to understand the true customer-felt impact.
• Are organized and capable of understanding processes.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure and deliver to continuous
deadline constraints is essential.
• Possess the ability to maintain focus in a sometimes-hectic environment.
• Have a one team mindset.
• Have the ability to impact business activities and influence leaders and peers.
• Have the ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Have a high degree of cross cultural awareness.
• Are able to demonstrate continuous improvement in processes.
• Possess the ability to explain complex concepts/plans in a simple and concise way is essential.
