In 2023 we have introduced number of exciting development offerings to our organization and created a process to respond more directly and timely to business needs. Alongside our more traditional cohort-based learning programs, we are currently widening the scope of our interventions to include more social learning experiences where leaders can more spontaneously meet, network, learn from and support each other.

We are now looking for a Faculty Lead to manage deployment and delivery of our leadership development strategy and all related solutions, including setting up Faculty Team to support this novel approach. Faculty Team will work very tightly with the Maersk Leadership Institute (MLI), helping to deliver its solutions, and the Faculty Lead will be expected to work very closely with the Head of Maersk Leadership Institute and supporting team in the People Solutions. The MLI designs and develops the solutions that are then deployed and delivered by the Faculty Team.

You will also have a role of co-architect to design and setup your deployment team to help our solutions succeed. The deployment team will include the following roles:

Facilitator

  • Leading the event, delivering the content, engaging live with the participants

  • In the “driving seat” of the event; the visible face of the event (e.g. performer on stage)

  • Holding space for large community interactions (virtual or in-person)

  • Skilled in facilitation (physical or virtual classroom) e.g. leadership development, performance, talent management, development topics


(Group) Coach

  • Someone with accredited coaching certifications (either by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC)

  • Skilled in 1:1 coaching and/or group coaching


What we are looking for :

  • You are an experienced and enthusiastic self-driven leader who is knowledgeable in leadership development as an area of expertise, but also a very hands-on person that enjoys the delivery of solutions and gets things done with high quality delivery and timely results.

  • You have background from company or consultancy roles that focused on leadership development, facilitating development programs, or working with coaching.

  • As you will also be leading a group of coaches, ideally, you are also yourself a qualified coach, as well as willing to act as a facilitator in our leadership programs and solutions. It will in addition be beneficial if you have experience in creating holistic communications plans and in branding initiatives.

  • You are interested and enthusiastic about leadership development and can be sparring/coaching partners to leaders at various levels providing them with insights and guidance.

  • You put collaboration methods into practice and demonstrate expertise also in the online facilitation and co-create with team motivational and inspirating development sessions to help leaders reach their best potential.

  • You are a doer who knows how to support your team, whilst making sure to keep within deadlines of complex global deliveries. You have excellent organizational skills to create activities roadmap including resource management. Can communicate expectations to all around execution of roadmap and keep the team focused on delivering exceptional learning experiences.

  • You work through empathy and understanding as well as the ability to listen to different perspectives and encourage healthy debate.

  • You are authentic and build trust.

  • You are willing to adapt, be flexible, and improvise as the situation requires it.

  • You have ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and spar with and influence senior leaders.

  • Proficiency in English is a must and other languages an advantage.


Your team will be global and work across all time -zones. You will play vital role in standardization and alignment globally not only within your team- and their ways of working, also impact on conversations with our stakeholders across organization. This role is open to be based in any location, we look for the right person, with passion in their heart.

The Faculty Lead will report to the Employee Experience organization under the People Function.
