With direct reference to our Vice President, Finance you will be leading a highly dedicated and passionate Business Intelligence team that is driven by creating business value and developing innovative technical solutions. Together with the team you will contribute to proactively strengthen the financial management in Kamstrup by making relevant and consistent date accessible.
Experienced BI practitioner with drive and ambitions
In the position as Head of Business Intelligence, your primary responsibility will be to continuously strengthen and develop our current BI platform and tools. You will help ensure that our BI services meet the commercial requirements as well as the operational and functional. You will work across the organization why it is important that you have the ability to clearly communicate and describe the BI landscape and the tools needed to gain and present insights.
More specific you will be responsible for:
• Designing the data platform eco system to meet the business requirements while being stable and efficient
• Engaging with internal stakeholder to understand future demands, provide inspiration, develop, implement, and maintain solutions
• Preparing various analyses and engage in active sparring with the business in search for value adding insights
• Supporting and operating the future platform to ensure stable and reliable data insights
• Manage, lead, and seek inspiration from external advisors and professional forums when needed
• Ensure trainings and strong partnering with internal users of business intelligent systems focusing on enabling the organization to a future where hands-on use of data is based on trust and involvement
Personality matters
You have minimum 5 years' of experience from either a consultancy or practical experience from a BI department. In addition, it is a requirement that you:
• Have minimum 3-5 years’ of experience as a people leader
• Are an experienced BI Practitioner and have knowledge in various BI tools - including SQL, DAX and structuring a data warehouse
• Have an analytic mindset and the ability to work with large amounts of data
• Have strong IT skills and are super user in Excel and Power BI
• Have a passion for leadership and personal development
If you have experience with financial insights through work and/or education, it will be considered an advantage.
As a person, you are ambitious and possess strong communication skills combined with a proactive and problem-solving approach to getting the job done. You have an analytical and curious approach to your tasks, and you wish to make a difference by taking responsibility. With your strong BI expertise, you will be the natural go-to person for the business when discussing potential solutions and new ideas.
In addition, it is a requirement that you master English and Danish on a high level – both orally and written.
