Designing Demant’s HR Data Architecture

In your new position as Head of Data and Reporting, you – and your team - will own the design, optimisation, management, and governance of Demant’s global HR data architecture and reporting.
Through continuous dialogue with internal stakeholders and external partners, you clarify internal and external HR data needs and reporting requirements and translate these into effective HR data and reporting solutions.
Your work is characterised by a global approach, but you also understand the need for customisation due to business area needs or country-level legal requirements.

You will be responsible for global implementation of Demant’s HR data architecture and standards, and ensuring that HR data entry, maintenance and governance happen in accordance with the defined global standards. This includes training of HR data agents, and performing ongoing data audits, validations, and cleansing.
Summed up you can look forward to a wide, and exciting portfolio of responsibilities, including, but not limited to the below:

  • HR Data Architecture design and optimisation:
    • Develop and continuously optimise the Demant HR data architecture, models, definitions, standards, and processes.
    • Establish and continuously optimise data retrieval and reporting capabilities.

  • Ensure Data Quality
    • Ensure HR data entry and maintenance happen in accordance with defined standards and processes through training of HR Data Operators, HR stakeholders and end users worldwide.
    • Perform data audits, validations and cleansing to identify and correct any inconsistencies or gaps in the HR data.

  • Data Governance and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR)
    • Implement data governance policies and practices.

  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Gather reporting requirements from internal stakeholders, and external legal reporting requirements, and translate them into effective data solutions.
    • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making.


To help you, you can draw on the expertise of your growing team, currently consisting of three HR data and reporting professionals located in various geographical locations.
Finally, it is important that you stay tuned on the latest HR data and reporting trends & solutions (not restricted to current Demant platforms).

Solid track record in designing and governing an enterprise HR data architecture

To be successful in this role you need to possess and combine profound technical expertise with strategic thinking to ensure efficient data management, reporting, and analytics throughout Demant’s global sites.
Your expertise is gained through previous experiences where you have designed and governed enterprise HR data architecture in one of more international companies with a multi-site structure.

Systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Power BI are second nature to you and due to your sharp analytical mindset, you know how to use HR data systems to generate and provide business relevant, high quality, validated data allowing management to make sound, well-founded decisions.
As a person you have strong project management skills and have experience from working in an environment where quality and delivery on time is on the agenda. Finally, you have a strategic and organisational mindset.

You are a charismatic and supportive leader for your multicultural team of employees. You know what it takes to keep people engaged and focus on inducing a strong sense of belonging and team spirit to people located across sites and cultural differences.
Last but not least, you have strong stakeholder management skills, are a good communicator and have an informal nature.

As Head of HR Data and Reporting you are ideally located at our international HQ in the greater Copenhagen area, but another location in or outside Denmark can be considered for the right candidate.
