In your new job, you will be leading the project of implementing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) by developing and driving action on a detailed implementation plan towards compliance in the Annual Report 2024 as the goal and then continuing with the ongoing work and new projects within ESG reporting compliance.
While being organisationally anchored in the Sustainability team, you will be working just as close with Group Financial Controlling driving CSRD implementation with the ESG Finance team. You will also engage with a broad range of other stakeholders across the Demant Group’s business areas, functions and global sites that own disclosures in the new reporting set-up.
In your daily job, you can look forward to working alongside 12 great colleagues in Demant’s Corporate Communication & Sustainability department that handle internal and external corporate communication and sustainability. We are situated close to Demant’s top management, in a low-hierarchical organisation with a constant flow of new development opportunities – personal as well as professional.

Cross-functional reporting or sustainability projects in a medium or large sized listed company
We want you to bring your ideas to the organisation with a proactive and engaged mindset, a positive attitude, and an enthusiasm for facilitating change. You like to get things moving and to guide colleagues in and outside your own team on how to progress with their deliverables.
You enjoy delivering projects across business areas and functions and engaging with stakeholders on all levels of an organisation. If you don’t have the solution yourself, you do not shy away from reaching out to colleagues or leverage your network for outside experiences and input. You have trust in yourself and trust in others, and you are a team-oriented person.
We expect you to have relevant education within project management, sustainability or related fields and maybe experience from a PMO function. You have experience in implementing cross-functional reporting or sustainability projects in a medium or large sized company or consulting firm. We hope that you have experience with existing and new sustainability reporting frameworks such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU taxonomy.

Main tasks and responsibilities

- Facilitate detailed CSRD implementation plan including implementation of phase-in requirements after financial year 2024
- Follow up with project participants and hold participants accountable for milestones in implementation plan
- Liaise with Group Sustainability and Group Finance to ensure coordination
- Prepare updates on implementation for Sustainability, Finance, Sustainability Board, Executive Board and Audit Committee
- Drive other sustainability or ESG reporting compliance projects
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing detailed action plan for CSRD implementation across the Demant group
- Ensure closure of disclosure and process gaps towards compliance with the CSRD in Annual Report 2024
- Develop plan for phase-in requirements and, after FY2024 compliance, steer Demant towards meeting phase-in requirements
- In time, lead other sustainability or ESG finance projects

- Detailed CSRD implementation plan with underlying tracks for gaps closure, systems, training and communication, milestones, and responsible project participants
