Do you want to break new ground? Do you want to deliver innovative digital solutions to 29.000.000 patients worldwide? Digital Health develop digital therapeutics and solutions for people living with Diabetes. We are searching for an SaMD Manager with system management experience and knowledge of compliance and GxP.
About the department
Digital Health is a new and exciting area that delivers innovative digital solutions which will supplement Novo Nordisk’s drug offerings. You will work closely with the Digital Health business unit, developing new digital products, enabling new ways of interacting with patients and new business models by being innovative. You will work with mobile and emerging technology, cloud offerings and explore new development methods. You will implement new ways of working and overcome challenges related to development with partners, in a heavy regulated and complex environment.
Digital Health IT is responsible for delivering innovative IT solutions to Novo Nordisk’s entry into the Digital Health space which is a prioritized strategic focus area for Novo Nordisk. The department is anchored in the unit: Digital Incubator & Innovation. We have existed less than three years, and we continuously move into new areas, where new ideas, competencies, solutions and perspectives are needed to succeed on our journey.

We work in close partnership with both the Digital Health business unit and external partners to bring the best innovative solutions to market for our patients.
The position
As SaMD Manager, you will be working to establish, develop and run System management for a new cloud-based Digital Health Platform, Digital Health IT “Products” and/or Digital Health Apps.
IT System Management requires that an innovative approach is applied to ensure that the best possible solutions are identified in relation to system changes, support and validation processes. However, this innovation must always conform to, and engage with the constrictions that are inherent within the area: external and internal compliance requirements, risk management and budget control.
You will act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) participating in problem investigations and challenge vendors on solutions and users on processes when defining changes in first and future releases. You will also participate in upgrades and release testing. Overall you will continuously work to ensure that systems are in compliance with regulatory requirements, in form as well as in content. You will collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders in Commercial, IT System Management, Regulatory Affairs and vendors globally.
The job entails a broad range of IT system management activities. In addition to your SME role, you will be responsible for aspects of problem, change and release management in close collaboration with the users globally, and you will participate in audits, facilitating and controlling system changes and converting business requirements into quality system functionality via frequent project release activities.
Qualifications
You minimum hold a BSc in engineering, IT, Information science or a related discipline.
You have IT-project or system maintenance experience with a proven track record of maintaining and developing systems. Furthermore, you have a natural interest in technical aspects and your professional approach is structured and collaborative with a constant focus on optimising and standardising processes. Preferably you have experience within the pharma industry and with GxP systems including quality and validation requirements, ITIL and System Maintenance. Knowledge of DevOps is an advantage.
On a personal level, you possess a strong ability to build relationships and create trust from both internal and external stakeholders. You are adept at communicating in English, both verbally and in writing. Your strong communication skills assist you to communicate clearly and engage many different stakeholders through your dedication to the details of projects and tasks, and you can explain complex topics for others to understand.
