Microbiologist for Quality Control Laboratory
Are you passionate and experienced working with laboratory processes and applied microbiology? Are you dedicated to high quality, have a strong drive and want to ensure our laboratory is compliant with the current GMP requirements? Then you may be our new colleague!
The position
You will be part of our support team, where you will be responsible for our microbiological analyses. As a team, we are responsible for ensuring that our analysis and equipment live up to the required quality standards. As a microbiologist, you will particularly focus on providing microbiological support to the laboratory technicians as well as creating instructions, deviations and change requests.
Moreover, you will be responsible for driving problem solving and LEAN improvement projects and you will be the primus motor on preparations and maintenance of our standards including structured and effective trainings of your colleagues. During audits and inspections, you will be responsible for presentation of the required documentation.
The position is temporary for 2 years.
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree as biologist, pharmacist, chemist or similar and you have experience with microbiological analyses, prefereably with MALDI-TOF, MicroSEQ and identification of microorganisms. You have experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and applying LEAN principles is a natural part of your work routine. Professional proficiency in Danish and English (oral and written) is a prerequisite.

About the department
QC Microbiologic laboratory, QCM, is a part of Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) manufacturing development and consist of 50 employees split in 3 teams. We conduct microbiologic analysis on water and finished insulin products, and we have a broad contact surface to our co-workers in the production. You’ll be a part of the support team that consists of 6 chemists and 6 laboratory Professionals/Laboratory Specialists. In the team we have an informal social tone with good humour, and we celebrate our success.
