You will be an important player in the transformation of LEO Global Safety, focusing on bringing new technologies and improved BI&A reporting into our business
About the job
In your role, the primary tasks will be:
Building and maintenance of reports including ad-hoc reporting and data extractions as needed in Global Safety using Business Objects and Power BI Support, operation, maintenance and development of the safety database and other systems used in Global Safety Validation activities and documentation (GxP) End-user support on a daily basis involving trouble shooting, problem solving, incident reporting and identification of improvement initiatives Collaboration with line of business and IT to ensure optimal use and documentation of the systems
In addition, you will participate in business projects in which your role will be to provide subject matter expert input within own area of expertise regarding regulatory requirements, business processes and requirements to IT systems. You will be performing informal and formal testing, updating standard operating procedures and participate in implementation and end-user training as needed.
About you
Preferably you have a relevant bachelor or master’s degree in Life Sciences - alternatively Computer Science or Engineering - besides working experience with relational databases within the field of Pharmacovigilance or Regulatory Affairs. You are a competent user of IT systems and a Microsoft Office 365 super user, and you bring experience working with Business Objects, Power BI, SharePoint Online or similar. Experience with system testing, SQL, impact assessment, stakeholder management and project team work is an advantage.
You have strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to focus on details, adherence to standards and keeping the overview of several tasks in parallel without compromising the quality of your work. The capability to understand and connect regulatory requirements, line of business processes and functionality of IT systems is essential.
As our candidate, you are well-organised, have a structured approach to tasks, show commitment, initiative and flexibility and have a good sense of humour. You are open-minded and enthusiastic, a strong team player, who can take responsibility and finalise assigned tasks. You are fluent in both written and spoken English and you like to work across cultures and skill types in a busy environment.
