Have you worked with data management in a number of different roles, had your hands on a variety of CDMS/EDC systems and experienced different approaches to the same core data management tasks? If so, here is the perfect opportunity to bring everything you know about data management into play. LEO Pharma has set an ambitious goal to become the world leader within dermatology. We have an exciting 2030 strategy and we are looking for 2 experienced Data Managers to help us drive change and shape tomorrow’s data management process.
Right now we are implementing new technology that will radically change the way we conduct clinical trials, and 2022 will see our first decentralised clinical trial as well as the roll out of our new EDC System, Vault CDMS. In other words, a job in Data Management offers a full hand of challenges: an interesting pipeline, new ways of working and enhanced focus on new technology. You are guaranteed to make use of all the talents you bring.
Data Managers in LEO have a central role in the Data Capture, Analysis and Reporting landscape. We coordinate and supervise all data management activities from trial planning to closure in close collaboration with Trial Management, Statistical Programming, Biostatistics and Medical Communication. We give input to vendor selection and contribute to the day-to-day vendor management, trouble shooting, ad-hoc reporting and ensure that data is collected, processed and locked according to trial timelines. Furthermore, Data Managers play an important role in process optimization projects.

Depending on your background and personal interests you will be involved in/drive:
- Data management in DCT trials
- Data management, eCRF setup and reports in Veeva Vault CDMS
- Development and use of data standards
- Development of metrics and dashboards
- Roll out of new EDC system, including training and process development
- Data management and vendor oversight in Phase 1 – 4 trials
We expect that you have:
- A deep understanding of the clinical data flow from data capture to submission, including the variety of IT systems and processes carried out by other skill types.
- At least 5 years of data management experience
- Significant hands-on experience with one or more clinical data management systems and technologies
- Excellent communication skills and talent for managing stakeholder relations
- Understanding of the importance of standardization – and insight in the challenges of achieving fit-for-purpose data standards
- Experience with CDISC and data standards in general
- A graduate qualification within life sciences or similar
- Last, but not least, we expect you to be an open-minded team player who thrives in a multi-cultural and demographically diverse environment. You can accommodate changes and challenges in a constructive way and you are an enthusiastic driver of best practice and knowledge sharing among colleagues
