Sales Global Supply Chain Analytics
You will be part of the Insights team responsible for BI and analytics in Logistic and Manufacturing Excellence, Global Supply Chain. The scope includes data modeling database design and frontend application development as well as various tools designed for business process management.
Your main responsibility will be building customised applications and data models to support business process execution in Global Supply Chain. You will collaborate closely with a broad variety of business stakeholders to make sure that all development activities are fit-for-purpose and value-adding.
You will play an important role in defining and promoting our strategic roadmap for information architecture and technology goals to secure fast, reliable and future-proof platforms.
Your future Insights team consists of 3 employees in Denmark and 2 in India, specialised in BI and dashboard design with professional knowledge about the business processes within the Vestas supply chain.

Responsibilities
- Build customised applications to be used by Global Supply Chain
- Outline test strategies and coordinate their execution
- Provide support to business users when they have questions or problems
- Suggest continuous improvement initiatives for existing applications
- Build data-models that supports analytics for data-driven decisions
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Science, Finance, Engineering or similar
- Significant understanding of database principles & master data governance
- Solid skills in SQL and database design (building databases from bottom-up and creating queries)
- Superuser of Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel including VBA)
- Knowledge of SAP Query Designer and SAP system in general
- Some experience with MS Access & SharePoint
Competencies
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to apply social skills and create a good network
- Agile and able to comprehend complex solutions
- Quality-oriented and able to validate own data results
- Able to communicate complex data structures and comprehensive data analysis in a simplified, holistic manner
- Progressive and motivated
- A good team player and good at keeping close to stakeholders
