Global Procurement Program Management
You will be part of an engaged and committed Global Procurement Program Management team. As part of the Global Procurement function, the Program Management team is responsible for organising and implementing the procurement scope of Technology, New Product Introduction and Technology Transfer projects within Vestas. Being part of the project’s cross-functional core teams, you will be engaged in all stages of the projects, from released concepts to ramped up production and supply chain.
The team is currently driving a large portfolio of exciting projects and we are looking for a Project Manager who will take charge of delivering projects of significant importance and will have a central role in the further strengthening of our team and the way we work.

The ideal candidate has more than 3 years of proven experience within project management, e.g. in production companies with a global supply chain. Furthermore, we expect that you:
You are fluent in English, spoken and written. Experience from the Wind Industry is beneficial.

Global Procurement Program Management

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Technology and New Product Introduction projects within Global Procurement in close co-operation with R&D (Vestas Power Solutions), Manufacturing and other key functions
- Take full ownership of ensuring all deliverables from Global Procurement in your projects according to the Vestas stage-gate model
- Bring Global Procurement strategies into action when carrying out the projects
- Deliver on agreed project scope and targets, ensuring the balance between quality, time, cost, resources and risks
- Ensure supply chain readiness throughout the development projects until global production ramp-up
- Project budget responsible for Global Procurement in all the projects
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has more than 3 years of proven experience within project management, e.g. in production companies with a global supply chain. Furthermore, we expect that you:
- have a relevant BSc or MSc in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent,
- hold a project management certification such as Prince 2 Foundation, IPMA D or equivalent.
- have experience with New Product Introduction and with Procurement
- have led project teams with team members joining in from around the world
- have experience working in a matrix organisation
- have professional communication and presentation skills
You are fluent in English, spoken and written. Experience from the Wind Industry is beneficial.
