The position
You will identify and deliver the HR agenda in Global People & Organization (GPO) in support of both strategic and operational cross functional business deliverables – at Executive Vice President level and across the organization. Among other things this includes driving:

• organisational development and effectiveness
• culture and engagement
• change management
• talent management & development

One of the key targets for GPO is to work and deliver as one P&O across various P&O disciplines. You will play an essential role in continuously reviewing, assessing and evolving the organization in order to contribute to organisational cooperation, sense of cohesiveness and business outcome from the area. In doing so, you bridge, advise and make initiatives including both quantitative and qualitative analyses and in a deeply rooted curiosity of potential synergies.

Furthermore, you will be shaping and fostering an engaging, diverse and inclusive employee environment, rooted in the Novo Nordisk Way, mitigating the challenges which strategic and business-oriented structures pose.

As a trusted partner, you build solid relationships with managers globally, you identify challenges and play an advisory role in addressing them.

Qualifications
You have strong HR Business Partner knowledge within change management and organisational development and possess the experience from a large, international and culturally diverse environment in actively driving forward an inclusive and performance-oriented culture.

You combine your strong sense of organization and team dynamics with a deep and broad business understanding and an ability to think strategically. This enables you to translate business into HR actions, based on a thorough understanding of the challenges and future outlook. You are able to remove people and organization related roadblocks, ensuring strong support to strategy implementation.

You are characterised by being:

• a strong and pragmatic executor
• a person people want to work with because you drive things forward
• a person with high personal integrity, which allows you to offer your perspective respectfully
• a person with a high level of drive and ability to progress from analysis and diversity of opinion to action and concrete outcomes

It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding and stakeholder management at all organizational levels. And you find solutions and get people to follow along, focusing on what matters the most for the P&O end-users.

You hold a relevant academic degree, and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

About the department
In GPO our purpose is to ensure that across Novo Nordisk we grow our people. We do this by ensuring simple and efficient P&O processes and tools, and we do it by facilitating change and a culture to think bigger, become more agile and keep cutting complexity – in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way.

Across Novo Nordisk, we are more than 1000 people in P&O who share the ambition to become one truly Global P&O function. We continuously strive to streamline our processes, remove redundancies and duplication, and ensure a high-level of efficiency.
Our foundation is an operating model where we deliver services globally through strong global units; four global Centres of Excellence and a Global P&O Services unit. And to ensure proximity to the business, we have dedicated HR Business Partners.

You will become part of the P&O Business Partnering unit and refer to the Senior Vice President for P&O Business Partnering, within a structure which encompasses P&O Business Partnering, Environmental, Health and Safety, People Relations and specific training and capabilities close to Line of Business. Additionally, you will become part of P&O management teams.
