As a Senior Deal Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Deal Sourcing and will be expected to take responsibility for driving deals from its initial scouting towards Signing. Moreover, you will take part in shaping the best practices for deal execution. In this role you will be also responsible for: • Independently driving deals on behalf of Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) from its initial scouting towards due diligence, signing and finally hand-over to integration • Help driving our global Search and Evaluation of production capacity opportunities • Engaging with senior stakeholders across the organization to get an understanding of capacity requirements, challenges, opportunities and needs • Expanding our external stakeholder network to establish Novo Nordisk as a well-known M&A brand in the global manufacturing capacity market • Providing strategic sparring to the Director of PSQIT Deal Sourcing and Corporate Vice President of PSQIT Business Integration, including driving strategic initiatives • Enhancing the overall M&A readiness across the organization The position offers great opportunities for utilizing your skills and experiences and for personal and professional development. Qualifications
We are looking someone with experience in driving M&A transactions, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries. To be successful in this role, you have: • A relevant MSc degree with strong results • +6 years of M&A experience, preferably in a regulated industry • Experience with lead generation of acquisition opportunities (Search & Evaluation) on a global scale, preferably in a regulated industry • A proven track-record of driving acquisition projects from initial scouting towards signing • Experience in providing counsel as well as preparing decision material to senior stakeholders within complex organizations • Experience with deal structuring and valuations On a personal level, you embody a strong sense of integrity, openness, and curiosity. You will join the Deal Sourcing department placed under PSQIT Business Integration. Our mission is to strengthen the production capacity at Novo Nordisk through M&A, while also enhancing the overall M&A readiness of the company. Within Deal Sourcing, we specialize in the Search and Evaluation of potential acquisition opportunities on a global scale as well as driving the deals from initial scouting towards Signing of a transaction. Deal Sourcing is one of out of three departments within PSQIT Business Integration, who collectively consists of +15 dedicated colleagues. PSQIT Business Integration is organized to cover the entire M&A lifecycle, covering Deal Sourcing, Due Diligence, and Integration. Our mission is to scout potential acquisitions, conduct due diligence, and seamlessly integrate these into Novo Nordisk to support driving change to fight diabetes and other serious chronic diseases such as severe obesity and rare blood and endocrine diseases.
