We are recruiting a motivated and skilled master's graduate for an exciting position as an Associate Scientist in the Department of Research Bioanalysis. Then apply for this role now and start your research career with us!The position As an Associate Scientist, you will work alongside senior scientists, contributing to the development of novel analytical methods based on ligand binding technologies such as LOCI, ELISA, MSD, and Gyrolab. Proficiency with complex IT systems, scripts, and automated liquid handlers is crucial. Your daily activities will involve hands-on sample analyses, active participation in scientific meetings, project support, and collaboration with stakeholders and technology providers to enhance the department's capabilities.Your key responsibilities will include: Design customized analyses for quantification of specified peptides and proteins. Implementing analytical methods on a diverse set of platforms. Analyze biological samples for drug concentration. Employ and share your theoretical expertise in ligand binding assays. Delivering presentations to team members and external stakeholders. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, you have: A master's degree in life sciences, engineering, biochemistry, or a related field. Proficiency in ligand binding assay technology. Proven hands-on experience with ligand binding assays such as ELISA. Experience in protein quantification in tissues or blood. Independent and proactive personality with a quality-oriented and structured mindset. A strong interest and aptitude for complex instruments and workflows. Comfort in reporting and presenting data. Coding experience in languages like Python and expertise in programming liquid handlers are advantageous. About the department Situated within Global Research Technology in Maaloev, Denmark, the Department of Research Bioanalysis pioneers the analysis of peptides and proteins in biological samples from animals (primarily plasma) and cell cultures. Our support spans the early research phase across various indications, including diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. We are dedicated to expanding the use of automated analytical instruments and IT tools for sample and data management.You will join a high-performing, multidisciplinary Research Bioanalysis team, which includes seven skilled laboratory technicians, nine scientists, an associate scientist, and one laboratory technician trainee.
