Do you have solid project management experience and firm knowledge of clinical drug development? Do you have a strategic mindset and strong communication skills as well as an interest in working with suppliers within Medical Writing? You might be the one we are looking for to be part of driving outsourcing of Medical Writing deliverables to supplement our well-established Medical Writing area. We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Reporting Outsourcing Specialist to oversee and support the development of the outsourcing model of Medical Writing deliverables. The position As a key member of the team responsible for setting up this new initiative, you will develop and implement vendor management strategies and processes to ensure its success. In this position, you will: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensure timely delivery of high-quality medical writing services, and optimise vendor performance to meet business needs. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Together with the Clinical Reporting oversight team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal quality processes, and industry standards. Manage relationships with external vendors and performance monitoring against established metrics and KPIs, and develop improvement plans as needed. You will continuously evaluate and improve vendor management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with outsourcing medical writing services and provide regular updates to Clinical Reporting management on vendor performance and projects status. You will be based in Søborg, DK Qualifications You will be a great asset to our team because you have: A MSc or PhD combined with experience within the pharmaceutical industry with a thorough understanding of the R&D value chain Strong interpersonal skills A proactive, independent and structured nature Take initiative to move things forward Successful project management experience from leading cross functional projects Strong analytic mindset with ability to identify the critical path and the parameters critical for value creation with ability to design and drive an assessment process and future project plans Experience working together with or within CROs Business planning skills – knowledge/experience with project planning tools and processes About the Department You will join us in Clinical Reporting, the medical writing function at Novo Nordisk. We are part of Novo Nordisk Development and anchored in the Submission & Life Cycle Management area. Development is responsible for managing clinical drug development and submissions to health authorities worldwide, from the early development phases to market authorisation.
