Job description
Are you proactive, stakeholder oriented and analytically strong? Do you want to work with business case analyses for marketed and pipeline products and do you have an interest in risk assessments? Then Capacity Planning in Novo Nordisk is looking for a maternity cover for one of our Capacity Partners.

About the department
Capacity Planning is responsible for all areas of Business Development in Product Supply, ranging from writing the overall PS Business Plan, to long-term Supply/Demand analyses guiding capacity investments, Business Interruption, Pipeline analyses, strategic business cases and the Enterprise Risk Management process.

We work in close cooperation with other departments in PS Business Support, production sites, business support units across PS as well as Global Marketing and Financial analysis functions in Novo Nordisk. Our approach is to act as a strategic partner, analysing the capacity and risk implications of our current and future production set-up. The basis for our work is strong analytical skills, a stakeholder mind-set and a good understanding of the business in which we operate.

The position
We are looking for a maternity cover for 14 months starting in August 2019 with a one-month handover and then lasting the full maternity period + vacation.

Key tasks includes: input to and development of the Enterprise Risk Management process, working across all PS production areas, IT and Quality. Moreover, you will be responsible for PS input to pipeline projects from phase 1 to phase 3, including Manufacturing and Supply Chain strategies. Here, you will be working with PS Manufacturing Development functions, CMC and Device Research and Development. You will also be responsible for PS input to the valuation of all pipeline assets (the Spring Review process) and business case analyses, working with New Product Planning and Insights and Forecasting in Global Marketing. A capable and proactive candidate could moreover also get involved in the other department processes and project as we strive to collaborate across the department.

You will as a result work across areas and functions – both within and outside Product Supply, gaining valuable insights into Novo Nordisk and Product Supply in particular. Im addition, you will have an opportunity to make a difference in terms of analyses and recommendations to senior management and drive activities and projects that support robust and cost-effective capacity expansions of a global production footprint.

Qualifications
We expect that you have a higher education (preferably Master’s Degree) within a relevant discipline e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business or Economics. Excellent stakeholder management skills, an analytical mind-set and an ability to work proactively and independently with an assignment will be assets. You must moreover have experience with or interest in (preferably pharmaceutical) production management and planning.

As a person you have a high energy, a positive attitude and openness towards other people and new ideas. Experience with risk assessment and business case analyses from a production support function will be an advantage. We expect you to be confident with data retrieval, analysis, complex decision-making environments and management presentations. You master English fluently; both written and spoken.
