About the department
The SNP team is anchored in the Sales & Operations Planning team and is overall responsible for global tactical planning for all production sites balancing supply and demand on a 2-year horizon, production site transfers and recently, master planning of the Danish sites.

The department Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is part of Devices & Supply Chain Management (D&S). D&S is representing one of the six senior management divisions within Product Supply (PS) and employs over 2.000 employees. D&S is responsible for devices and the supply chain management across PS. PS has a global production network with production sites in e.g. USA, Brazil and China.

The position
The role as tactical master planner is a newly created role, so there are good opportunities for you to shape your own role. You will be working closely together with a newly appointed master planner. The master planner will mainly be responsible for the operational tasks, while you as the tactical master planner will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring transparent prioritisations between the Danish sites by balancing demand with capacity and inventory
  • Head up a weekly meeting with relevant stakeholders from logistics and quality control
  • Follow up, challenge and develop weekly KPIs
  • Fill in for the master planner in vacation times

It is expected that you can work independently and that you are highly skilled at stakeholder management, as you will be working with stakeholders from S&OP, logistic areas and management at the production sites, purchasing and finance. Additionally, you will also be working as a sparring partner for global supply chain projects to improve our planning processes and systems.

Qualifications
We expect you to have more than 5 year of supply chain experience and have a relevant university degree preferable in Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar. You have excellent data, presentation and analytical skills and preferable has previously worked with operational or tactical planning and SAP APO.

The candidate we are looking for is good at communicating on different organisational levels, can take initiative and be proactive, have no problems with working independently and is excellent at translating complex situations. You have the ability to quickly change gears from being deep in analysing data to taking fast decisions to looking for elements of the supply chain to optimise.

Lastly, as the SNP team is an international team with a global footprint you must be able to speak and write English fluently. Fluency in Danish would be an advantage.
